Please vote! Help me decide on my haircolor! (Sorry, another long post due to all the pictures.)

**Please vote! I'm going to a hair appointment on Wednesday, so need to make a decision by Tuesday evening.**

I'm really having trouble deciding what hair color to have for the wedding. I like the color right now, but I feel like it's too light for my natural skin color (or maybe just the wrong shade of blonde?). They say your hair color should enhance your natural color, not make you feel like you have to put on more make-up. Right now, I feel like I need to put on a lot of make-up. Here's my hair color right now. (No make-up - I wanted to show how the hair color is with my natural skin color.) I feel like my skin looks super pale and like the hair color doesn't help it.

This is the same hair color, but with make-up on. I still look super pale. The hair color doesn't seem to enhance or flatter my skin tone.

Here's the same hair color, but I had gotten a spray tan, so I was nice and tan. I think the hair color looks much better with my skin tone. However, I will not be this tan all the time, which is why I think I need to change the color a bit. The first one is with no make-up right after the tan (at my darkest).

This one is the day after. Still pretty dark, and I have make-up on. If I were this tan naturally, I would definitely keep the hair color as is. I think it looks great with tanner skin.

This is a school photo from last year, I think. I think the color is a little too dark here.

This is another school photo from 2 years ago (I think). I think the color looks good here.

Please help me decide! Please vote based on my natural (pale) skin, not the super tan me, as I will be pale pretty much all the time.

Which do you think looks best?

-Light color
-Dark
- Kind of in between (I think with a slight bit of red) - the last photos

I like the in-between color--I think it's very flattering, and it will look good with your pale skin or with a bit of a tan. Don't feel like you have to be tan for your wedding day--you want to look like YOU, just at your best. Pale skin with a white dress can be gorgeous!

I LOVE the color in the last photos. That is such a good color for you!

P.S. You'll never guess who is 2nd shooting with SJMackey on Oct. 4th! ;)

I like the last pictures, the in between color. It looks the most natural I think.

Aimee...are you going to wear your hair up or down? I agree with what you are saying about the blond. It looks great with the tan but might be too light with paler skin. I really love the dark color but my favorite is the in-between (with the red). It is beautiful! I think either dark color is best and honestly, if you are wearing your hair up, it won't look too different! You look so pretty in those blond pictures though :) You make we want to go get a spray tan and bottle of peroxide!!!

I love the last ones, with the middle ground color.

Trisha - yeah! :-) I had no idea you worked with Sara! I'm so glad you'll be the second shooter.

Lauren - I'm going to be wearing my hair up. My bangs right now are quite blond which is why I am concerned about the color.

I like the tan/blond pictures, too! Too bad I didn't get my mom's coloring - she has olive skin. I got my dad's paleness. :-)

Thanks to all the comments so far!

I was thinking the last (medium colored) photos were the best. Hopefully my new hair stylist can recreate the color. I haven't seen the stylist that did the color in quite a while.

I love the last pictures with the light brunette hair color.
I too have pale skin, thanks to Irish skin, and I have found that brunette looks great on me, even auburn looks good, sometimes red.

I'm clearly in the minority here, but I like the dark! The middle one....although maybe with a few highlights? Love the blonde, but definitely with a tan....that can just be your summer look and you can go darker in the fall and winter months!

I guess, I'm the odd one out, but I like your hair dark best. That being said, I like the last pictures a lot too. Let us know what you decide!

I like the last, lighter brown the best. Also, I answered your question about Joanna Newsom on my blog - just fyi! Let us know what you decide on the hair!!

If you're wearing it up for the wedding, I actually like it dark. I think it's much more striking. For everyday wear, the last pictures are very pretty.

I think the last color compliments your skin the best. You don't look washed out or pale. It's a very good balance.

I like the in between color (like the last photos) with a little red best. It is a hard choice though! Is April doing the color? She knows her stuff about going from a lighter color to something darker...I did that last fall. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the darker color to hold but I'm sure she'll tell you all about that. Can't wait to see it!

I agree that the last photo suits your skin type the best. You could probably also pull off very dark hair as well, even darker than the darkest photo you displayed.

Kind of late in the game to add my 2 cents...

But I've ALWAYS thought brunettes were way hotter than blondes.

I think you'd commented on someone else's blog and I followed you here... I can't remember who's though...

BTW... I remember where I found you... It was from Sarah's blog... you'd commented there.

AND... I posted a funny story about our first wedding dance which is right up your alley... The song we danced to was "O Carolan's Concerto".
