Things have not slowed down since the wedding! It's been a hectic first week back at school, to say the least. I had Bunco with some teachers from my school on Tuesday evening, and DH and I started a Chinese language course on Wednesday nights. I'm playing in a wedding today, have a wedding show tomorrow at the Ameristar (if you're going - stop by and say hi!), and then a music preview concert at St. Peters Church in St. Charles. Busy weekend!
I really hope to post about the wedding and the trip to San Francisco soon!
On a side note...I showed my students some wedding photos yesterday. One of the kids (I can't remember if it was a boy or a girl) asked why there were so many pictures of me. A little girl said it was because it was my day and I was important! So cute! :-) They also LOVED the pictures with the red socks and shoes. Oh, and of course, they thought it was gross when we kissed!

Ohhh...that is so cute! I forget, what grade do you teach?! Kids say the cutest things don't they. Of course, I had to censor my wedding pictures because 5th graders get really freaked out when they see kissing. Most of them were more interested in seeing honeymoon pictures. A boy in the room shouted, "bikini pics" in front of the class. Inappropriate, huh?!
You are keeping busy!! How cute about the students. How old are they?
Lauren - lovely comment one of your students made! :-)
I teach 2nd grade, so the kids are 7 or 8 years old.
You must hear so many cute things from your students. Learning Chinese must be so cool to do together with your new husband, too. I just started learning German (my husband and I just moved to Berlin). It isn't as cool to learn a language he's already fluent in, but oh well. Congrats to you and here's hoping for a wonderful first year of marriage.
Thanks, Katie!
